Ju Percussion perform ...before and after love.... at PASIC 2026
2026 Ju Percussion Group U.S. Tour
Since its founding in 1986, Ju Percussion Group has remained dedicated to its core vision of "Rooted in Taiwan, Embracing the world," elevating Taiwanese percussion to the international stage. Marking its 40th anniversary in 2026, the ensemble will embark on a U.S. tour featuring commissioned works and classic percussion repertoire to showcase the dynamic diversity of contemporary percussion.
This tour follows the group's acclaimed performance at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC). Breaking its customary policy against re-inviting artists within five years, the convention has invited the ensemble back to the world’s largest percussion event in 2026, building on their resounding success in 2022. By designating "Ju Percussion Group's 40th Anniversary" as a key convention theme, PASIC highlights the profound global recognition of the group's artistic achievements.
The tour will also visit iconic venues across the East and West Coasts of the United States. These include the Hylton Performing Arts Center at George Mason University, the Anne and Ellen Fife Theatre at the Center for the Arts at Virginia Tech, the Herbst Theatre at the San Francisco War Memorial & Performing Arts Center, and the David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center. Driven by its enduring spirit of "always starting anew," the group will present its vibrant "Transformation 2.0," bringing the unique energy and rich heritage of Taiwanese percussion to audiences worldwide.
