Alfa Duo Percussion & Friends perform Kyoto in Karnten, Austria
ALFA DUO & FRIENDS
“…the mallets fly virtuously when Fabian Homar and Aleksandar Georgiev stand before their marimbas and captivate the audience with rhythmically precise yet emotionally subtle music.” (OÖ Nachrichten, Dr. Michael Wruss) The program knows no bounds in terms of instrumentation or style: The two percussion professors expand their duo into a quintet with outstanding students from the Gustav Mahler Private University in Klagenfurt. “AlFa Duo & friends” combines classics of percussion literature with familiar melodies from pop, jazz, and rock, creating a concert experience that is as virtuosic as it is entertaining.
