Percussion Perspectives is a podcast about percussion and the many opportunities available to young percussionists to explore new and exciting directions. At the festival on 18–19 April in the Chamber Music Hall at Musikhuset in Aarhus, percussion students from the Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus, in collaboration with Associate Professor Henrik Knarborg and the American percussionist Andy Bliss, will present a programme of four concerts showcasing possible paths to explore – electronic, solo, performance and ensemble. We kick things off with the Danish premiere of John Luther Adams’ work Ilimaq for solo drums and electronics.
