A Breathtaking Symbiosis

A breathtaking symbiosis of percussion music, textile art, and haute couture. Master percussionist Konstantyn Napolov gives an enchanting solo performance amidst the grand retrospective exhibition Main de Dieu, main de Diable by the acclaimed Hague-based fashion designer and textile artist, Peter George d’Angelino Tap. You will stroll through the exhibition alongside Konstantyn, who will perform perfectly matched solo pieces at various artworks. Peter George himself will be present to share insights into his work.

Spanning multiple rooms and covering over 100 square meters, this imposing exhibition surrounds you with dozens of costumes and colossal tapestries. Konstantyn plays an impressive arsenal of instruments. From fiercely complex rhythms and rousing percussion to the delicate sound of falling raindrops – he brings it all to life masterfully.

Peter George d’Angelino Tap has a deep-rooted connection to the music world. He has designed the scenography and costumes for various opera productions (such as Verdi’s I due Foscari for Opera St. Moritz) and creates the concert attire for the piano duo Lucas and Arthur Jussen. Musical compositions– ranging from Mahler to Reynaldo Hahn – often serve as the direct source of inspiration for his colorful costumes and monumental tapestries.
