"I first saw Infinite Mind and PASIC in 2024 and was immediately enthralled. I showed my girlfriend the piece as well, inspiring her to make paintings for each of the movements (she has audiovisual synesthesia) which will be featured during my performance of the piece. I am also featuring a work I wrote myself, which ended up being somewhat sonically similar to Infinite Mind. It uses an amplified music box, which is a device I've spent the last 6-8 months developing for this piece. This piece deals with the loss of Avery Hall, who was a close friend of Rob Skoglund, the marimbist on this piece.
